O happy painless days

Something exciting/wondeful/unbelievable occured last Saturday.  My mother chose to buy the most expensive gift she'd ever bought  for herself. Actually, it was the 2nd most expensive-her piano was her first.  She bought herself an ipod nano...a shiny blue ipod nano. It was so beautiful. I know several of you out there already carry these treasures around, and you might not understand why I'm so happy about this...but I am.  I was absolutely filled with love on Saturday and I still manage to retain that feeling 4 days later.

I don't remember if I've talked about this last year or not...but you see...to make things short...I loathed my second year of high school. That was the year, I'll just say simply...I lost my birthday present. I couldn't understand how, out of all people, it would happen to me. Me. I had been a pretty responsible person up till then, but from then after I wasn't to be trusted completely. That tiny thing meant the world to me, music meant so much to me while I had it. Even months after that incident, for some reason, I can still be depressed and moody.

But while we drove home that Saturday evening, I told my mom that something inside me had been reborn. It didn't matter to me that I couldn't bring it to school, nor the fact that it was my mom's. I just knew that now, I could spend countless nights listening to that thing, reminiscing. Mom just kinda playfully scoffed at me, saying that I shouldn't be that way, that God would not be pleased to see me taking so much pleasure in something so worldly. She told me to give thanks, and then asked me a truly simple question.

"Sooo...do you love me?"

Yes! Duh, mom. I love you. And I promise, thats not just the ipod talking.

Sick (and I don't mean physically...okay now its physical)

It thought Javascript only works for the one thing on top. I didn't know it worked for EVERYTHING.

What I mean is that below the chatbox, I kept other things for future use. Like wallpapers, even my darkplayer and videos. Before, none of those things are shown in publie. And suddenly, when I come back, I see to my horror, EVERYTHING that is displayed for the publice to see.

But the thing I especially gaped over was an extremely embarassing aim conversation. I stuck it there for reasons I cannot recall, its been over a year and a half. For how long its been there? I hope it hasn't been too long. NO ONE was supposed to see that.  I am sincerely sorry if some of you actually viewed it.

This is why my heart is racing. And now I'm feeling sick. I guess if I had made an update sooner, this would never have happened. [And I guess if I never pasted it there, I would neve be sick.]And no, I don't like to play these "games" with people on aim. Its just...not fun.

I hope my cousin hasn't viewed my xanga any time recently.

I've been overcome by laziness the past ...4 months. I'm back now to wish everyone a merry Christmas! :highlights:

School got out for vacation today! Hooray!! Anyone else getting Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess? I have it now. ^____^ But I probably can't play until after our little vacation. We'll be going to Las Vegas and be back Thursday. I haven't been on vacation for so long that I didn't realize I'd need someone to take care of my birds. Hm...

Thats the highlight of today. And...

Because some songs no longer worked, I took the darkplayer off for awhile to put a loudfusion music player in. I've had an account for awhile, but I just didn't want to use it that quickly. ^0^ I'm glad its free for everyone to use it.

Changed Background to one that Kayi Rowling made. <3 A little blurry, so I might choose something more suited for Autumn.

Sophmore year is different, to say the least. Tons more homework.  But at least I am back with the friends I've missed so much during the summer.  Today was...how should I put it? Quite eventful. *stops there*

Is school starting for everyone else too?
